Orientation Day moves to a South American beat with Zova
Orientation Day for RSJPL and Carnival Teams was a great success with players learning some new moves with Zova Football
Sunday morning, 13 November dawned bright and early for 150 of Wide Bays' best young footballers. Girls and boys from Bundaberg, Gympie, Hervey Bay, Maryborough and the North Burnett descended on Aldridge High School in Maryborough for their Football Wide Bay Orientation Day. Players met with their new team coaches, managers and carers and got to bond with their new team mates as well. FWB President Melissa Ethell, RDO Greg Caulley and Admin Officer Julie Calvert presented an introduction to Football Wide Bay's policies and procedures to players and parents, then players spent the rest of the day training, bonding, getting fitted for their playing strips and uniforms, along with a dip in the pool. The biggest hit on the day however was each teams session with Zova Football, the world's first music and rhythm football skills program. Players learnt how to play the beautiful game to the rhythm of some great music and got a strenuous physical workout at the same time. Zova helps players to be more creative, increase their touches and agility while having fun.
